The storyline behind all  Predator movies is simple, which makes it more interesting and less puzzling than most so called action movies- that is, to kill, be killed and stay alive.

 Ever since its first launch in 1987, Predator, which was originally directed by John McTiernan, can be classified as a sci-fi movie with a genius plot close to 'reality'.  The plot in 1987 was based on a group of commandos sent to Central America, on the belief that they are to rescue a Cabinet Minister who was being held captive after flying over enemy lines. They later learned  that they were really sent to gather important information for the CIA. Dutch(Arnold Schwarzenegger) ,is the head of the team, and is forced to embrace the reality of his men being killed not entirely by Guerrillas but  by a powerful and fully armed opponent, shuttled from another galaxy with a thirst to kill his prey brutally and without mercy.The 1987 version of Predator is  real 'reflector ' due to the close relationship of brotherhood between Dillon, Blain, Poncho, Billy and Anna.

The invisible predator was back at it again in 1990, In Predator 2, this time far away from the jungles of Central America and hosted in Los Angeles. With its bestial killings of drug lords and cops, Predator became the hunted by Lieutenant Mike Harrigan( Danny Clover). From one head skull to the next,  the monstrous character pleasured itself in  gathering trophies of human skulls as its prize. The settings may have changed,and the main characters as well, but Predator did not loose not one ounce of the shrilling sensation it passes to its viewers. With the brilliant teamwork from Peter Keyes ( Gary Busey), Danny Archuleta(Rubén Blades), Leona Cantrell( Maria Conchita Alonso), Jerry Lambert ( Bill Paxton) and Captain Phil Heinemann ( Robert Davi), Predator 2 was more of a continuation  handed down by  John McTiernan.

The plot took a spin in Alien vs Predator and Alien vs Predator 2 as humans had to safeguard themselves against the clashing battle between Alien and Predator. In Alien vs Predator,  Charles Bishop Reynold (Lanse Henriksen), a billionaire looking to add more 'toys' to his collection, discovers a pyramid and later mounts a group of archaeologists, led by Alexa Woods ( Sannaa Lathan) to study his findings. As the movie unfolds, the humans find that they are in the midst of a battle led by Celtic, leader of the teenage predators who have come to earth to gather the heads of aliens as their trophy. Was happens next is an horrific clash of two monstrous beings who are destined to battle until to the death to safeguard themselves and their honor.

When the Predator warrior (Ian Whyte) arrived in the peaceful town of Colorado,in Alien vs Predator 2,  hunting to gather skulls was not his mission, but yes to avenge the death of his comrades. The role played by the Predator-Alien hybrid (Tom Woodruff, Jr), was without doubt a mouth opener and eye popping performance. Dallas (Steven Pasquale)  and Kelly (Reiko Aylesworth) and Ricky (Johnny Lewis), did justice to keep the tension and anxiety alive in  Alien vs Predator 2, and one will without doubt admit that Predator is more than just a wanna be thriller it is an art in itself, signed with gore and horror.

The Predator mask continues to be a popular choice for men on Halloween.
